Multiple Zones (very tedious)

Asked by: Mike Cherichetti 1276 views User Questions

Ok here is the issue I have. We host about 178 sites based on cities… so for each banner size I have 178 zones for representing each city. So when it comes to adding all the cities it takes me forever to change the priority for all 178 Zones for that specific ad.

Is there any way to change all the zones to one specific priority rating?

i hope this makes sense… any help would be greatly appreciated in accomplishing this task. I am not sure if there were any built in features for doing this.

Currently I am saving the html code from the campaign zone section and doing a “find and replace” to edit the code and then open the created html page and submiting it frommy desktop? Also i have created “SAMPLE” campaigns in which the setting are all ready the way i need them and i jsut copy the campagn and switch out the sample info with the real campaign.

thanks again!

We are actually going to be releasing a new version very soon that has support for bulk priority, chain, and status changes. What we did was add select boxes in the table headers for those fields, so if you select a value in them it will update the values for every zone assignment at once. You’ll get a notification in AdvertPRO that an update is available when it’s released.

    Mike,

I saw this update was out today. AdvertPRO control panel alerted me of it. The only problem I’m having is… where’s the link to download the software?

    Thanks!
    Jimmie ;)

I’ll e-mail you a download link. You have to e-mail support and ask for it. We’ve always so busy working on AdvertPRO that we’ve never had time to set up a proper download site yet… it’s one of those things pinned at the bottom of our top heavy todo list :)
