I am in need of an easier way to manage available inventory so I can write proposals and maximize sales. I am stuck right now using a spreadsheet with monthly estimates for each unit and then I type in numbers of impressions that have been sold. I run into problems when advertisers start or end campaigns mid-month and I can’t easily see that space is oversold for the first half of the month and undersold for the last half, for instance. I also have trouble syncing accurate estimates for each unit with AdvertPRO’s historical stats.
Anyway, it seems like an integrated system would be great for AdvertPRO, but I also realize it’s probably not in the plans. Perhaps this question has come up before and you have some suggestions? I’m having trouble googling for answers because the terms are too broad. The sales management software I have found is made for offline publishers.
