Manual impression update on server reporting

Asked by: chrislaradesigns 471 views Feature Requests

Hey Mike, I already sent this to you via regular email but wanted to make it an official request if this ever got approved. Copy paste:

Quick question about reports, management want’s to know if I can manually
update our impressions on the reporting. Guess we have a situation where
publisher has a impression count of 3,000 difference from what we’re
reporting, so management would like to ‘sync’ our final reporting by
updating the impressions on our end. I realize that I could download a csv
report and manually edit their, but is their a way to reflect this on the
server reports so we don’t have to manually enter in the sync up on the csv or excel files?

Thanks,

CL

This was added to our list of feature requests. It will be implemented, but it’s just a question of when it will be scheduled to a release. Implementing this one is fairly involved and it will probably take a decent while for that to happen. Other users requesting this is the best way to speed up that process, so if anyone else reading would like to see this feature please cast your vote :)

    Mike,

You know what features I really want, but a way to fix/remove testing clicks and impressions from a live campaign would be nice too.

Preview the media in the control panel. Those run through the ad server in the same way they do on your site, except the impressions and clicks aren’t counted.

We are going to be implementing an IP address filter in the next update though, which will let you add your (static) IP address to it and your impressions or clicks will never be counted on live campaigns.
