Anyone have any insight on possible integration of graphic (gif, jpg, png, etc.) banner delivery in an iPhone or iPad app?

The code wizard has a code format called E-mail Code, which outputs code that contains only <A> and <IMG> tags. It’s obviously designed for e-mail clients. However, since the iPhone and iPad can’t display Flash it works well for their apps too! The nice thing is you can use the same zone(s) from your web site in the app and it will just skip over any Flash ads in the zone when selecting ads to display to app users.

I finally heard back from the iPhone app developer and he’s having an issue where the redirect URL is opening in a small window, the same size as the ad banner. He says that he thinks he needs “to programmatically create a new larger “window” with the contents of the redirect.”

Not sure why that would happen. Did he possibly remove target=”_top” from the <A> tag in the code? Sounds like what would happen if that were the case and he was loading the code into an <IFRAME> tag.
