Default ads for zones

My advertising reps would like to know if it is possible to insert HTML or Flash ads as “default” campaigns for certain zones. As it works now, each zone has a default ad that appears wherever that zone exists if there are no sold ads running. However, only image files work. We can’t use any other media type.

What we would like to do is have “default” campaigns setup to fill these spots when the existing ad hits its maximum pageview or time limit and becomes disabled. I have not been able to figure out how to do this without having the “default” campaign run in conjunction with any other campaigns in the zone.

Is there any way this is possible?

    If you don’t want the default campaign running in rotation with your regular campaigns what you have to do is set its status to disabled in the zone’s campaign assignments. That will make is so the campaign only runs as a default like you want. We have it set up this way because some people like to give their excess impressions to one advertiser as a bonus to their campaign, so allowing the default to run in the rotation if it’s enabled facilitates that.
